A Facebook page is a good place to start. It’s free, your customers are already there, and you can post in minutes. For many businesses in Nepal, it’s the first step online, and that’s fine.

The problem starts when it becomes the only step.

You don’t own it

Your page lives on someone else’s platform. The rules, the reach and the layout can change overnight, and there’s nobody to call. A website is yours: your address, your content, your rules.

Customers search before they message

When someone hears your name, they often search for it. A clear website with your services, location and phone number answers their questions before they ask, so the people who do message you are already closer to buying.

Posts disappear; pages don’t

A good post is gone from the feed in a day. A service page keeps working every day, for every person who searches for what you sell.

So what should you do?

Keep your Facebook page. Use it to talk with customers. Then give it a home base: a simple, fast website that every post can point back to.

That’s not a brochure. That’s a salesperson who never sleeps.
